In ReThinking a Lot, Eran Ben-Joseph shares a different vision for parking's future. Parking lots, he writes, are ripe for transformation. After all, as he points out, their design and function has not been rethought for decades. With this book, Ben-Joseph pushes the parking lot into the twenty-first century.

Author
Eran Ben-Joseph is a Professor in Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning and the head of the Joint Program in City Design and Development at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has worked as a landscape architect, city planner and urban designer in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the United States. Eran is the author of The Code of the City and co- author of RENEW Town, Streets and the Shaping of Towns and Cities, and Regulating Place.
